The Government-Academe-Industry-Network Inc. (GAIN) and Philippine Association of Colleges and Association of Local Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (ALCUCOA) have entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) through a virtual signing ceremony. The event celebrated the enduring partnership and expanded reciprocal relationships between GAIN and ALCUCOA to implement roadmaps and strategies to enhance the global competitiveness of Philippine graduates and further the employability of the Philippine workforce. The agreement between the institutions encourages an environment of mutual collaboration through professional development, the scholarship of teaching and learning, and joint research and innovation activities.
Representing GAIN for the virtual signing were its Chairman Dr. Peter Laurel, President Ms. Monette Iturralde-Hamlin, Vice President for Government Linkages Dr. Raymundo Arcega, Vice President for Academe Linkages Dr. Conrado Iñigo Jr., Vice President for Industry Linkages Ms. Grace Abella-Zata, Secretary Dr. Jocelyn P. Tizon, Treasurer Mr. Gerry Sanvictores, GAIN Executive Director Dr. Genevieve Ledesma-Tan, and GAIN Directors Dr. Adlai Castigador and Mr. Rex Wallen Tan. In attendance from ALCUCOA were its President and Executive Director, Dr. Raymundo Arcega, Secretary Dr. Imelda Soriano, Auditor Dr. Rene Colocar, ALCUCOA Directors Dr. Carmelita Sotto, Dr. Christie Jean Ganiera, Dr. Richard Daenos, and Mr. Arnel Leonardo, Ms. Marilou Tayao and Mr. Luigi Miguel.
