GAIN and PACEOS Collaborate to Advocate Global Competitiveness of Filipinos in the Industry Sector

With the aim to further advocate the global competitiveness of Filipinos in the industry sector, the Government Academe Industry Network, Inc. (GAIN) and the Philippine Association of Convention/Exhibition Organizers and Suppliers, Inc. (PACEOS) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) through a virtual signing today, October 12.
GAIN and PACEOS agreed to work in partnership on several areas, particularly in promoting awareness of the need for international standards in communications and digital proficiency for global competitiveness of Filipinos to its various networks, as well as to study the possible inclusion of international standards in communication (CEFR) and digital proficiency (DigCom and ISTE) in the certification programs for tourism and the Philippine MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) Roadmap. Representing GAIN for the virtual signing were its President Ms. Monette Iturralde-Hamlin, Vice President for Industry Linkages Ms. Grace Abella-Zata, Treasurer Mr. Gerry Sanvictores, GAIN Executive Director Dr. Genevieve Ledesma-Tan, and Director Mr. Rex Wallen Tan. Representing PACEOS for the virtual signing were its President Mr. Joel Pascual, Vice President for Convention Ms. Monette Iturralde-Hamlin, Vice President for Exhibitions Ms. Marisa Nallana, Secretary Ms. Sonia Sayaman, Treasurer Ms. Pamela Pascual, and Trustee for Membership Ms. Cynthia Mamon. |
